This autumn, join Duncan, our wildlife ranger, for a guided walk through Trentham’s woodlands as we take a closer look at the fascinating fungi popping up all around us! 🍄 From the strange and spongy puffballs to the unmistakable red-capped fly agaric, there’s so much to discover under the trees this time of year. 🌳
You’ll pick up some simple tips for identifying different species, hear a few fun facts and bits of folklore, and have plenty of chances to stop, snap photos, and enjoy the seasonal scenery. 🍂
Just make sure you’re dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes - it’s autumn in Britain, after all. And don’t forget your camera or phone to capture your fungal finds! 📸
Walks are happening on Monday 29 September, Saturday 4 October, Monday 6 October, and Saturday 11 October. Everyone’s welcome, whether you`re a fungi enthusiast or just fancy a mindful stroll with a bit of nature knowledge along the way! 💜
